The Lab-Volt STEMcart is a mobile learning station that provides teachers with flexible resources for lectures with video and physical demonstrations, as well as experiments with data logging capability. All experiments and activities are embedded within the eInstruction® Classroom Response System, allowing for automated student assessment correlated directly to your state frameworks. The STEMCART was designed as a resource for teachers addressing educational needs in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs and to help bolster state testing scores. This station can easily be stored when not in use, and shared amongst different grades and classrooms in the school.

The National Standards for Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) Education were established to guide educators to prepare students to take on the challenges of the 21st century. Lab-Volt developed the Tech-Design FACS curriculum for students to achieve these essential competencies. FACS  interactive multimedia keeps students interested and motivated. Multimedia features include stimulating graphics and animations, full-screen MPEG videos with closed-captioning, simulation and hypertext for new concepts and terms.

TQ’s innovative TASK (Technology and Science Kits) teach fundamental mechanical engineering principles. The kits are part of a modular system. Students mount the main parts for their experiments onto a generic steel frame. To complete the experiment, they then add common parts, such as force-measuring devices, weights and tools. Many of the experiments are supplied in a kit, ready for the user to build. When coupled with the modular parts, this makes the kits extremely cost effective.
